Kraut Harris, P. C. is pleased to announce that Herbert F. Rubenstein, Esquire has joined the firm, Of Counsel, in January. Herb brings 44 years of expertise in the fields of municipal, real estate, zoning, land development, wills and estate administration law.


Ken Milner was the Master of Ceremonies at the 13th Annual Graduation Celebration of the Montgomery County Literacy Network. Ken is Past President and General Counsel of MCLN, which supports and promotes adult literacy programs throughout Montgomery County.


Ken Milner has been appointed Co-Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association's Franchising Committee. Ken has Chaired or Co-Chaired the Committee since it was formed 21 years ago.

BNI offers members the opportunity to s hare ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals who maintain the highest ethical standards in their field and adhere to strict BNI ethical standards and accountability to other members for the quality of their referrals.


The Pennsylvania Bar Association has reappointed Ken Milner as Chair of its Dues Review Subcommittee. The Subcommittee consists of PBA members and staff who strive to make the benefits of the PBA affordable for all Pennsylvania attorneys.


Following a bench trial on July 18, 2013 in Montgomery County, Craig Fleischmann obtained a verdict in excess of $25,000 in favor of a landlord against a residential tenant who was refusing to pay rent while still occupying the property. The verdict included an award of attorneys' fees and costs, which were permitted under the lease agreement.


Ken Milner has received the 2013 Special Achievement Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ken was recognized for his efforts as Chair of the PBA Solo & Small Firm Practice Section, and his dedication toward assisting attorneys facing hardships.


Mark Harris has been reappointed as President of Inter-Faith Housing Alliance. Inter-Faith is a non-profit organization located in Ambler, Montgomery County and is a leading provider of support for homeless families in Central Montgomery County. Inter-Faith’s services include short-term emergency shelter where families may stay for up to ninety days, long-term transitional housing where qualifying families may stay for up to two years, and the community Food Cupboard.


Ken Milner was the Course Planner of the 2013 Solo and Small Firm Conference, held this summer at The Omni Resort in Bedford Springs. At The Conference, Ken moderated, and, with Harold Goldner, presented, the popular "Hot Tips" session, in which attorneys throughout the Commonwealth received 50 legal and law practice tips in 50 minutes.


Ken Milner presented Entity Identity to an audience of attorneys and real estate professionals at PNC Park, in Pittsburgh. Entity Identity is a course which explains the differences between various types of business entities recognized in Pennsylvania. The course is accredited for both real estate and legal continuing education purposes.


David Kraut and Harold Goldner were named “Awesome Attorneys” by Philadelphia Life and Suburban Life magazines. David was named in the “Business Law” category and Harold was named in the “Employment Law” and “Labor Law” categories.
