Mark S. Harris
Mark is a founding partner of the firm, having established Kraut & Harris with David Kraut in 1984. After graduating from Northeast High School in Philadelphia in 1971, he attended Temple University and graduated summa cum laude in 1975. In his final year, he was inducted into the newly formed Phi Beta Kappa Chapter at Temple University. After taking a sabbatical to play music professionally, Mark attended Temple University Law School, where he graduated
cum laude in 1980.
Mark began his law practice in Philadelphia and has been practicing law in Montgomery County since 1981, focusing his practice in 3 areas: general business representation, real estate matters and estate planning and administration. He represents numerous businesses in the five county area and has lectured frequently on estate planning for families with special needs children and elderly family members. He is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations.
A former director of the Ambler area Y.M.C.A., Mark is a member of the Board of Interfaith of Ambler, a non-profit organization which assists homeless families in locating temporary shelter. He has also been involved with the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Mark is an accomplished musician who has played with various professional groups over the years, and has represented a number of businesses in the entertainment field.
The father of three, Mark and his wife have been long-time residents of Upper Dublin, Montgomery County.
